Sacramental Preparation Overview & Schedule

Baptism

Parents and Godparents must attend the Baptism preparation class.
Classes take place at 6:30pm on March 25, April 23

Please call the parish office to register for the class.

Baptisms will be scheduled on the second Sunday of each month at the 11:30 am mass
(except during Advent and Lenten season)

Confirmation

This faith program is for youth, grade 6 or older
(who have received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion). 

This program prepares young people for Confirmation and encourages a lifelong commitment to faith formation and service.

Registration is closed

Registration for this class will re-open in Fall 2026

First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion

The sacrament of First Reconciliation is a special way that Jesus comes to us with His love and mercy. Jesus forgives us and fill our hearts with peace and joy.

These sacraments are for children and youth who are grade 2 or older.

Registration is now closed.

NOTE: when you fill in this form you have registered your child/youth for both sacraments (Reconciliation & Communion).

 

First Holy Communion

This sacrament of First Holy Communion introduces each child and youth to a Christian way of life and prayer, It emphasizes the central place of Jesus – Eucharist – the source and summit of our Catholic faith.

The Eucharistic Liturgy is meant to enliven our faith and deepen our love to our Lord. This faith program introduces each child and youth with guidance from the parents to the rites and rituals of the Mass.

Communion Orientation Meeting:
Saturday, February 7 at 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm –  child/youth and parents must attend 

Communion Catechism sessions (must attend all):
Saturday, February 21 at 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Saturday, March 7 at 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Saturday, March 21 at 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Communion class lessons:
Saturday, March 28 – Saturday, May 23 at 2: 30 pm – 4 pm

Communion Rehearsal:
Saturday, May 30 at 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm 

Communion Celebration Mass:
Friday, June 5, 2026 at 7:00 pm

RCIA (adapted for children/youth)

This program is for any child/youth 7 years of age and older who has not been baptized and parents wanting their child/youth to enter this Catholic faith are encouraged to register

Registration is closed.

Class dates: November 29, 2025 – March 28, 2026 – class is held every Saturday from 3 pm – 4:30 pm

The child/youth will be baptized at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

  • January 23, 3:00, opening meeting via zoom and video, explain the preparation process and pick up materials between Jan 24 and 31, lessons to start February 1
  • February 20, 3:00,  zoom meeting,
  • March 13, 3:00,  zoom meeting
  • March 31st, 7:00, Reconciliation Celebration

First Communion

  • Pick up their materials between April 5 and 11, Mass attendance in person or online will be mandatory – Father to ask questions to be answered
  • April 24, 3:00,  zoom meeting
  • May 15, 3:00,  zoom meeting will be broadcast from inside the Church
  • June 5 and 6 – All masses – First Communion Celebration

Confirmation

  • March 2, send out registration forms, collect them back by March 14, they will pick up their materials between April 5 and 11, Mass attendance in person or online will be mandatory
  • March 27, 3:00,  zoom meeting
  • May 1st, 3:00,  zoom meeting
  • May 29, 3:00, zoom meeting
  • June 12, Retreat via zoom, or possibly in person, full day, with hopefully a speaker
  • June 16, Confirmation Celebration 7:00pm
