Sacramental Preparation 2023

Journey of Faith – Confirmation

    You first received the Holy Spirit at your baptism when you entered God’s family. Now, in this special sacrament of confirmation, each youth receives the outpouring gifts of the Holy Spirit to go out and be a witness of their faith to all people.

        Our parish is offering a 14 week in person sacrament of Confirmation program for any youth who is in Grade 6 or older.  This 14 week in person sessions will prepare each youth with an understanding of their role as a baptized Catholic, guide these young people to draw closer to our Lord and learn about the gifts to help them follow Jesus.

This program will be held
every Thursday evening at 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm., 
starting February 9th, 2023
in the parish hall 
Confirmation Celebration will be 
Wednesday, May 31st , 2023 at 7 pm with 
Archbishop Richard Smith celebrating this Mass.

              Confirmation registration is presently open until January 28th, 2023. Simply download and complete this registration form and attach a copy of your child’s Baptism and First Eucharist certificates (even if these sacraments were celebrated at St. John Bosco). Kindly email this form with the certificates to the parish [email protected] or bring to the office before January 28th, 2023 (deadline for Confirmation registration).  There will be an orientation meeting on

Parents and youth must attend this meeting(mandatory)

Registration forms are available here and at the back table of the church and kindly have the
 form and certificates into the parish before the deadline date of January 28th, 2023.

       Through sacrament of Confirmation, each youth guided by the Holy Spirit is equipped to become a better witness to Christ in this world to fulfill the mission of evangelization.

First Reconcilitaion

  • January 23, 3:00, opening meeting via zoom and video, explain the preparation process and pick up materials between Jan 24 and 31, lessons to start February 1
  • February 20, 3:00,  zoom meeting,
  • March 13, 3:00,  zoom meeting
  • March 31st, 7:00, Reconciliation Celebration

First Communion

  • Pick up their materials between April 5 and 11, Mass attendance in person or online will be mandatory – Father to ask questions to be answered
  • April 24, 3:00,  zoom meeting
  • May 15, 3:00,  zoom meeting will be broadcast from inside the Church
  • June 5 and 6 – All masses – First Communion Celebration


  • March 2, send out registration forms, collect them back by March 14, they will pick up their materials between April 5 and 11, Mass attendance in person or online will be mandatory
